Sergio Alonso is the co-founder and the director of operations in charge of SOG design in the Guangzhou office since 2013.

Alonso’s diverse background and experience in architecture make him a creative designer. He thinks outside the box and avoids expected solutions. His approach is unique and unconventional.

He heads up SOG Guangzhou Architectural’s team, which focuses on mixed-use developments. With extensive experience in residential, retail, and masterplanning, his current projects span China, Vietnam, and Spain.

He actively participated in the award-winning South Sea Pearl Eco Island competition, contributed to the development of Guangxi Hezhou Dream Huangyao Cultural Tourism Town, and significantly designed the Central Lake Masterplan in Guangzhou.
