Oriol Ribas, one of the firm’s co-founders, is an accredited architect and has been a member of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia (COAC) since 2003. He played a pivotal role in establishing SOG design’s Barcelona and Guangzhou offices, and the firm subsequently initiated collaborations with local firms on diverse residential, hotel, mixed-use, and urban planning projects.

With a deep-rooted passion for design and construction, Oriol oversees and leads architectural design teams, primarily in Spain and China, working on a myriad of projects, from residential to masterplan developments. His exceptional attention to detail has enabled him to collaborate with international firms in emerging markets such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Oriol’s impressive portfolio features an array of notable projects, including Neom projects, The Red Sea development project, The Amaala Yacht Club in Saudi Arabia and the Pearl Eco Island Masterplan in China.
