The challenge for this project was building a luxury and exclusive club house and villas along a breakwater in Hainan Island.

Our design response is to create a geometry that interact with the linearity of the breakwater shaping interesting spaces and sight views to accommodate the program. Doing that we have a series of V shape platform creating a regular pattern along the breakwater line. A total number of 10 villas and 1 club house are articulated along the breakwater. Each villa is articulated on the edge of the V shape platform. The main views are directed to the harbour and protecting from the open sea. Each V shape has his own private water body created by the intersection with the breakwater.
