The Baietan mixed use and Camel headquarters is the first project to be developed in the new Guangzhou CBD.

Consisting of two towers of luxury apartments, one office tower and a 4 floors commercial podium connected to the river by a bridge and a scenic platform, this project will become a new destination point for the new Guangzhou. With a strong linkage to the river park and to the public spaces, the Baietan project aims to become a meeting place for everyone.

The starting point for its design is the creation of multiple links with the existing urban fabrics and the future projects surrounding the site.

Since this will be the first project in the new CBD, SOG design has created a multilevel connectivity with the rest of the area, ensuring the future project will follow the urban idea of community and shared spaces.

This project will host the Headquarters for the international clothing company CAMEL, therefore, the aesthetic aspect of the design aims for an iconic and recognizable look.

The use of glass is the façade has been reduced in order to create a more sustainable project without losing any of its visual impact.
