Resilient Design Case Study: SOG design for LUX Resorts & Hotels

At SOG design, we prioritize diversifying our portfolio and expertise across a multiverse of sectors. Here’s LUX Resort & Villas — a countryside river paradise located in Chongzuo, Guangxi, China.

LUX Resort & Villas is a project from our hospitality portfolio. It highlights the possibility and necessity of creating solutions that are respectful of the habitats they inhabit.

Our work pushes us to design consciously within the environment that we engage in. Working with the resilient design practices, teaches us minimal disruption and seamless integration.

So how do design solutions sustain the existing environment?

Developing this hospitality
concept, that is secluded within the mountains on a total site area of 22.2ha, we followed the natural topography of the site and the curves of the adjacent Lijiang River.

The SOG design Guangzhou team proposes an integrated and respectful presence of the luxury resort in the serene ambiance. We integrated this hotel complex to merge naturally with the surroundings.

This project encompasses our values in sustainability and resilient Design
