Le Coulinet: Refurbishing A Historic Cottage for Modern Country Living
Le Coulinet represents the complete refurbishment of a historic country cottage in South of France. Set on a 23,000 m² plot surrounded by farmland, vineyards, and forests, the project aimed to redefine rural living by merging traditional charm with modern design.

In collaboration with Federico Crocella, we carefully preserved the original building’s character while integrating contemporary enhancements. The property, which includes the original main house, a former tobacco drying facility, and an old stable, has been thoughtfully configured to distinguish public and private spaces.
Our design emphasises natural light, privacy, and accessibility. A central library connects key functional zones, while strategically placed social areas capture sunlight and showcase views of the picturesque countryside. Private spaces are oriented to offer panoramic vistas, ensuring comfort and functionality.
