Redefining Vertical Luxury with Rustomjee Crescent

Rustomjee Crescent is our latest façade design project, a distinguished 20-storey residential tower in the heart of Mumbai’s Pali Hill. Developed by the Rustomjee Group, Crescent sits in one of the city’s most exclusive enclaves, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and Mumbai skyline.

As a redevelopment in a highly sought-after neighbourhood, the design brief called for more than visual uplift. It required an architectural response that could refine the identity of the tower while negotiating its dense urban context and the evolving expectations of luxury living in Mumbai.

Our façade strategy focused on quiet elegance and spatial performance. A rhythm of vertical fins and linear elements — inspired by a conceptual motif called ‘The Shards’. Here, we introduced a distinct vertical language while reducing the perceived mass of the building. A finely layered curtain wall system was employed to balance privacy with transparency, particularly for the lower-level residences facing an active street edge.

Material selection was equally considered: bronze-toned aluminium channels, grey granite cladding, and timber ceiling panels were used to create a timeless material palette that enhances both durability and richness.

From the grounded podium to the elevated Sky Pool retreat, every element was designed to express a restrained luxury and a sense of sanctuary within the city’s vibrant urban fabric.
