What Will You Do?
We are in search of a senior associate who is willing to embrace unconventional ideas and can produce top-notch design and/or technical work, inspiring and guiding others with their imaginative and original thoughts.
Your responsibilities:
- Proficient in managing high-profile architectural and interior projects for both corporate and private clients.
- Collaborate with the team on projects to achieve design and technical excellence that adheres to high-quality standards.
- Plans, coordinates, and oversee the project process, remaining actively involved throughout.
- Communicate regularly with the Senior Associate/Director to ensure the delivery of innovative and thought-provoking projects.
- Leads project meetings and client presentations, serving as the main point of contact for client interactions to foster strong relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Promotes a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and the sharing of best practices.
- Mentors and trains junior team members, providing timely feedback to support their creative, technical, and professional growth.
- Initiates and participates in studio activities, leads brainstorming sessions, and effectively manages conflicts.
- Engage with colleagues to support new business development and enhance internal and external communication through events, forums, and publications.
- Assists in preparing fee bids and handling fee proposals and negotiations for projects.
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of cost control, fee charging, and project finance, ensuring fees are maximised and project targets are met through effective management of time and resources.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree qualified in a related design field or holding equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred.
- At least 10 years experience in a similar role with responsibilities that require in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Enthusiasm for architecture and design, commitment, reliability and team spirit
- Proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline – Revit is essential.
- A talented designer with a portfolio that showcases excellent creativity and innovative thinking.
- Experience in successfully delivering large-scale projects through all work stages within APAC regions.
- Strong organisational and supervisory skills; a proven ability to manage projects and people to deliver great results.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work proactively as part of a committed team.
- Ability to lead, develop and maintain a respectful and trusting relationship.
- Ability to relate and work well with people at all levels within the team and in the broader office, as well as externally with clients.
- A strong passion for architecture, interior architecture, and interior design.
- Proactive but tactful in ensuring others within the team meet deadlines (etc.)
- Able to travel as required.
