The design manager we seek should have extensive experience managing design teams for large-scale projects, possess an international background, and be knowledgeable about project requirements and standards.

• Ensure designs meet project specifications, client expectations and company standards within a timeline.
• Oversee the entire design process, from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
• Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update the team (and clients if necessary) on project progress and address any concerns.
• Ensure client requirements are accurately captured and reflected in the design.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of design.
• Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular design audits and peer reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or architecture.
• Proven experience in managing design teams on complex projects.
• Experience in the design of residential and mixed-use developments is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
