1st Prize for the new “PACKAGING RESEARCH CENTER IN LA RIOJA” together with vi17 Arquitectura.

This container based project is an avant-garde and sustainable proposal where wood, modular construction stands out, with prefabricated and industrialized systems that make it more efficient, flexible, easy to expand and economical. Through a series of active and passive strategies, a sustainable, zero emission, self-sufficient building with a clear bioclimatic character is created.

The natural light, the vegetation, the large work areas, the open spaces for social interaction, rest and family reconciliation, the warmth of the wooden construction and even the large green spaces in the environment that surround the building, are the key points of a proposal that seeks not to be a simple building for work, but a place in which to promote the well-being and comfort of its users.

This new building for the Packaging Research Center seeks to be a benchmark as an architectural, technological and sustainability level, thus becoming the icon of the “Ciudad del Envase y el Embalaje” Foundation.
