When we think about the future of cities, we all envision greener and more sustainable urban spaces, higher quality of life for citizens, better public transportation, and better pedestrian circulation. Sergio Alonso, director of our Guangzhou studio, has been invited to deliver a speech about a car-lite city at the Guangzhou Arts University.

He presented this topic and the questions derived from those urban changes to the students: What will we do with all the infrastructures, buildings, spaces and services today dedicated to the millions of cars in every city? Is it possible to create cities where citizens do not depend on private cars for mobility?
